The Southend Jazz Festival will take place in Southend from October 2nd to 8th, 2023. The festival is organized by Southend Jazz Festival CIC, a non-profit organization with a mission to support and celebrate jazz in all its forms in Southend-on-Sea and its surrounding areas. The festival works closely with local promoters, venues, and musicians to showcase and amplify the local jazz scene. This includes bringing fresh talent to existing fans of jazz, as well as reaching out to new audiences through educational workshops and engagement events.

The festival is dedicated to being inclusive and accessible, always looking for innovative ways to make it a true community event. The Community Investment Board is proud to provide a grant for this year’s festival, ensuring that free events, discounted tickets, and a limited number of free passes are available to all, promoting inclusivity. The festival is a great opportunity for the community to come together and appreciate the art of jazz in Southend-on-Sea and beyond.
